1 Year in Our New Home, 6 Years of Chez Rosa

It feels like yesterday that we nervously unlocked the doors to our new home.

After five years in Kennebunkport, we were stepping into something entirely new. We wondered if people would find us here. We wondered if the warmth, community, and sense of connection that had always defined Chez Rosa would make the move with us.

A year later, we have our answer.

Not only did you find us, you filled this place with life.

Over the past year, we’ve had the privilege of being part of so many moments, both big and small. Birthdays, anniversaries, graduations, bridal brunches, rehearsal dinners, and celebrations marking life's milestones. We've also shared in the quieter traditions: date nights that linger a little longer than planned, spontaneous dinners that become memorable evenings, and long summer nights on the patio when no one seems quite ready to leave.

From Brunch Society gatherings to everyday dinners, one of the greatest joys of this past year has been watching new traditions take shape while familiar faces continue to return. Slowly, this space has become more than a restaurant. It has become part of people's routines, celebrations, and stories.

As we celebrate one year in our new location and six years of Chez Rosa, we feel incredibly grateful to be part of the Kennebunk community.

This year also brought recognitions that mean a great deal to us. We were honored to once again be named a Tripadvisor Travelers' Choice restaurant and to be recognized in Best of the 207 with Gold for Wine Selection and Silver for both Fine Dining and Outdoor Dining.

While we're proud of those awards, they belong as much to our guests as they do to us. They are a reflection of the community that has supported us, celebrated with us, and allowed us to continue doing what we love.

And while we enjoy looking back, what excites us most is what comes next.

This next chapter of Chez Rosa is about creating even more opportunities to gather around the table.

This summer, we're introducing live music on the patio and launching Patio Nights, giving guests even more reasons to spend an evening outdoors with friends, family, and good food. Did you know our patio is dog friendly? 

Beginning July 2nd, join us every first and third Thursday of the month for live music on the patio. If you'd like to be part of the experience, be sure to request a patio table when making your reservation.

As the seasons change, many of the traditions you've come to know and love will return. Steak & Wine Wednesdays, our Local Appreciation Menu, and Brunch Society will all be back this fall. We're also excited to introduce something new: The Neighbour's Table, a community supper designed for those who believe great meals are best enjoyed in good company.

Looking ahead, our goal remains the same as it was six years ago: to create a place where people feel welcome, cared for, and connected. Whether it's a quiet dinner for two, a lively evening on the patio, or a celebration that means everything to you, we hope Chez Rosa continues to be part of those moments.
