Reasons to work with us

Yesterday, as we wrapped up our last reservation of the night and the restaurant buzz slowly faded, it hit us: summer is already winding down. It’s been a nonstop hustle, long days, and plenty of hard work, but funny enough, it never really feels like an obligation.

That got us thinking: what actually makes working at Chez Rosa special? Here are a few reasons we think you’ll love it as much as we do.

1. Our Community

We know we’ve said this before, but it’s worth repeating: our community is truly one-of-a-kind.
Our regulars aren’t just guests; they feel like friends. They’re the type who are always excited to try what you’ve created with care, quick with a smile or kind word, and genuinely rooting for you to grow. That kind of energy is contagious.

2. We’re All in the Same Boat

Restaurant life has its ups and downs, no doubt. But the best part? You’re never on your own. We lean on each other, laugh together, and push through the tough nights as a team. The wins are sweeter because we share them, and the challenges don’t feel so heavy because we face them side by side.

3. Rest is Sacred

We love what we do, but we also believe in balance. This was one of the core reasons to start our own business, because we believed it could be done differently.

Days off are for sunshine, beach time, and recharging, because rest fuels creativity and keeps us at our best. When you’re here, you give your all. When you’re off, you get to truly disconnect.

4. There’s Always Something New

Repetition? Not here. Between seasonal menu changes, new cocktails, and fresh ideas, there’s always something new to learn or master. If you love food, creativity, and discovery, you’ll never be bored at Chez Rosa.

5. We’re Full of Stories

From our fishermen and farmers to our winemakers and foragers, our network of local partners keeps us connected to something bigger. The stories they share, like the ups and downs of lobster season or how a tricky harvest pulled through at the last minute, are a constant reminder that food is about people, history, and community. Those stories inspire us every single day.

If this sounds like the kind of place you’d like to be a part of, we’re looking for year-round cooks.

With love,
Chez Rosa Family
